Angela was born on February 2nd, 1947 in the village of Dahrav, Askeran region, in a family of a worker. There were 7 children in the family: 4 boys and 3 girls. Angela was the third child.
After graduation she got married and moved to Stepanakert in 1964. Her husband was very kind and caring. They had a son. Unfortunately, he suddenly died of a heart attack in 1994. Several months later on April 18th, 1994 her son was killed in Martakert. In a few weeks after Angela’s son died in the war ceasefire agreement was assigned.
Angela worked for former Karabakh textile factory. She enjoyed the love and respect of both her friends and company management.
Angela lives in a flat received from the factory that has been recently renovated by the government.
She was informed about Hanganak by her acquaintances and joined the organization in 2009.
Angela is one of the active beneficiaries; she takes part in all the events and film screenings.
Angela considers her health condition below average as she has hypertension. She receives part of the medicine from Hanganak: Enalapril 20 mg N30, Valerian extract pills N50, Tempalgin, and the rest she buys herself.
Her monthly pension is 98000 AMD, 48000 is her elderly pension, 50000 – she gets as a dead soldier’s mother’s allowance.
The food received from Hanganak is sufficient for the whole month.
The apartment is heated by an electrical heater. She pays the bill by the heat compensation money and her pension.
Angela is very grateful to all the benefactors, Hanganak staff and her nurse Marcela Sargsyan who is next to her in any situation.
