In December 2009 Hanganak NGO celebrated its fifth anniversary. NKR Government (the Prime Minister Mr. Ara Harutyunyan), highlighting the organization’s work and appreciating the Elderly Project, awarded diplomas to the organization and the sponsors of the project – the Armenian Women’s Welfare Association and the New York benefactor Zaven Ken Darian.
The Health Minister Dr. Armen Khachaturyan on the occasion of 5th Anniversary of Hanganak NGO and the Elderly Project, in 2009 awarded the diploma to Hanganak NGO for improving social and health condition of the elder population in Stepanakert
In 2011, on the International Day of Older Persons – October 1st, the Speaker of the NKR National Assembly Mr. Ashot Ghulyan awarded diplomas to Hanganak NGO and its sponsors – A.W.W.A.- inc. and Mr. Zaven Ken Darian.
In 2012, on the International Day of Older Persons, mayor of Stepanakert Suren Grigoryan welcomed the organization and its beneficiaries, and awarded certificates and souvenirs to the project sponsors and Hanganak NGO.
In 2014 the Speaker of the NKR National Assembly Mr. Ashot Ghulyan, on the occasion of 10th Anniversary of Hanganak NGO and the Elderly Project, awarded the medal of 25th Anniversary of Artsakh Movement to the President of Hanganak NGO Dr. Gohar Hovhannisyan.
In 2014 the Prime Minister Mr. Ara Harutyunyan warmly received the guests from A.W.W.A. and awarded medals to the members of A.W.W.A. for sponsoring the Elderly Project and their charitable mission in Artsakh.
In 2014 the Mayor of Stepanakert Mr. Suren Grigoryan received the guests from A.W.W.A. and Hanganak NGO staff at the City Hall and expressed his gratitude for improving the lives of 200 elders living alone in Stepanakert. He awarded AWWA and Hanganak NGO with certificates and souvenirs.
The Minister of Labor and Social Issues Mr. Samvel Avanesyan on October 15th, 2014 signed a contract with Hanganak NGO to collaborate in improving social condition of single elders in Artsakh.
In October, 2014 the Health Minister Mr. Harutyun Qushkyan welcomed the members of A.W.W.A. and Hanganak NGO staff at the Mimistry of Health of NKR and suggested his support to the Elderly Project in providing drugs to the beneficiaries and, as a 10th Anniversary present, gave a generous gift – TV set for movie showing.
In 2014 on the occasion of 10th Anniversary of Hanganak NGO and the Elderly Project, the President of Maternity NGO Mrs. Hasmik Mikaelyan awarded AWWA and Hanganak NGO with medals of Maternal Gratitude (Pic. 7).
In 2019 the Ombudsmen of the Republic of Artsakh Mr. Artak Beglaryan on the occasion of 15th Anniversary of Hanganak NGO and the Elderly Project handed over letters of gratitude to AWWA and Hanganak NGO (Pic. 8).
In 2019 the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh Mr. Samvel Avanesyan awarded diplomas to Hanganak NGO, AWWA and Mr. David Mkrtchian on the occasion of 15th Anniversary of Hanganak NGO and the Elderly Project appreciating huge input in improving the quality of life of elder population n Artsakh.
