Beneficiaries of Hanganak are Provided with Medicines

At the end of 2022, Hanganak ordered medicines to be able to provide chronic patients with the necessary medicines. On those days, through the mediation of ICRC, a certain amount of medical supplies, baby formulas and medicines were provided to the pharmacies of Artsakh. The medicines received during the blockade were not enough to cover the needs of the beneficiaries of the organization for a month, as Hanganak usually provided to its elderly. In this regard, it was decided to distribute medicines for the next 2 weeks to satisfy more beneficiaries. Priority was given to beneficiaries suffering from hypertension and cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, asthma, mental disorders and arthritis.

In 2023, Hanganak orders the necessary medicines and medical supplies, including insulin syringes, for the second time, and receives the order in full. Fortunately, in cooperation between the ICRC and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, it became possible to provide the blockaded population of Artsakh with at least medicines. At the moment, it can be said that the beneficiaries of Hanganak are fully provided with medicines.

Today is the 45th day of the blockade. Hanganak has already ordered food products and in the coming days, the beneficiaries will receive poultry meat, canned tomatoes and locally produced jam.
