Thus, the list of products for May consisted of a liter of vegetable oil, a box of tea, a kg of sugar, a kg of rice, a kg of buckwheat and a box of canned peas. Along with the food, the required medicine and a monthly portion of insulin syringes were provided to insulin-dependent patients.
It is already the second month that the bedridden patients have been provided with the relevant number of incontinence pads. There were six bedridden patients this month.
The social workers of Hanganak and the Home Care Center for the Elderly of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs’ delivered the packages to their beneficiaries within 2-3 days.
The most active beneficiaries visit the office personally to receive the food, medicine and medical supplies as needed. Usually, the elderly do not rush to leave the office. They want to be socially active, communicate, have fun with each other and share issues that interest them. These days there are active discussions on political issues among the beneficiaries.
The beneficiaries of Askeran region received the necessary medicine and food for May, too.
