Hanganak continues its work under blockade

Since December 12, Azerbaijan, violating the provisions of the trilateral declaration of November 9, 2020 on the cessation of all military actions in Nagorno-Karabakh, has closed the only road of life connecting Artsakh with Armenia and the world, with so-called “environmental” reasons. Artsakh has been under blockade for 16 days.  This means that the situation with food, medicine, petrol and diesel is getting worse day by day. How Hanganak NGO copes with the blockade, and how the beneficiaries and staff  of Hanganak live in Artsakh. We have decided to bring to your attention the daily life of our beneficiaries every day. To tell about their emotions and feelings, about their food reserves and expectations for future.

It should be noted that Hanganak NGO stands with its 320 beneficiaries in these alarming days. Overcoming another financial crisis, Hanganak staff continue to perform their duties to the full. The greatest attention is paid to the housebound beneficiaries. Home visits, social and medical services are carried out of properly.

Financial difficulties had led to the suspension of medicine supplies for some time, which in the current situation  had a psychological impact on the beneficiaries. However, having recently received the expected funding, the team quickly began to provide medicine.

For these difficult times, it was decided to deliver all the necessary medicine to chronic patients, with at least 10 days of dosage, and to fully satisfy the beneficiaries with the necessary medical supplies and goods.

Food for December has already been ordered, but for obvious reasons, it will be delivered only at the beginning of January 2023.

If you live in Artsakh, you are alone and need help, the doors of Hanganak are always open for you.
