A visit to Askeran was organized on June 22 to provide food and medicine to the beneficiaries. As always, Tatul Shekyan was already waiting in the office. The gathered beneficiaries unloaded the car together with the staff of the organization. This time a few beneficiaries were gathered. Everyone was depressed in response to recent political developments. Beneficiaries gradually gathered to receive food and medicine, and everyone was concerned about the same topic.
The work was organized very quickly. Beneficiaries would occasionally come in and receive their package, after which they would sign the appropriate forms for the food and medicine they received.
They were not in a hurry to leave after receiving the package, they hoped to get some news from the organization’s staff. Unfortunately, the staff could share only the same news: the Armenian side was going to give up the last village, Aghavno, along with the road from Berdzor connecting Artsakh to Armenia. Nobody knew the details, but according to the information, the gas supply would be interrupted, as it passed through the same road. The new gas supply route was not ready yet. People were extremely depressed. They stood in the office yard for a long time, trying to understand what other evil awaited their tortured homeland.
