Marcela Sargsyan, the responsible nurse of the Ararat region, is successfully conducting visits to the area. Marcela is providing focused attention to all 28 beneficiaries who have found shelter in the region. Her latest report was very satisfactory. All beneficiaries diagnosed with chronic diseases are receiving the necessary medications and reporting good results.
During her regular visit, Marcela also provided food to all beneficiaries. However, the beneficiaries were waiting more for the necessary medicines than food, as there is a state program in the Ararat region that provides food to the people of Artsakh. It is worth noting that the mentioned program doesn’t cover Yerevan. When planning further activities for the Elderly Project, it is important to consider this fact.
In total, out of 28 beneficiaries, 25 of them receive medicines. Marcela notes that most of the beneficiaries are physically and socially active, which is very important for the forcibly displaced people of Artsakh. The visit of the psychologist to the Ararat region is planned for next month.
