The September food distribution is nearing its end, bringing with it not only nourishment but also care and connection for our beneficiaries. These past two months—August and September—have been especially intense, filled with events, workshops, and activities that remind us once again how strong and resilient our community is.
This month, food distribution was combined with our Healthy Lifestyle workshop, where participants not only learned but also received their food packages with joy and gratitude. On the same day, many of our beneficiaries took part in the Patient Satisfaction Survey for group activities, helping us evaluate and improve the quality of our work. In addition, those who had not yet participated in the Baseline Health, Psychosocial, and Household Needs Survey for forcibly displaced elderly from Artsakh were also given the opportunity to complete it. This survey is a cornerstone of our current grant project: the baseline data will later be compared with a follow-up survey in six months to measure the project’s impact and effectiveness.
These interviews are more than surveys—they are living proof that the voices of forcibly displaced elderly from Artsakh must be heard, their needs must be recognized, and their lives must be valued. Again and again, we see how our beneficiaries feel important, included, and respected in our programs. Their willingness to actively participate is a touching reminder that our work is not just about support, but about dignity, belonging, and hope.
Food distribution has already been completed in Yerevan, Ararat, Armavir, and Kotayk. Very soon, we will share stories from our visit to Lori.
We invite you to stay connected with us, to follow our updates, and to stand with the lonely elderly of Artsakh. Your support is not just aid—it is a lifeline that brings comfort, dignity, and hope, changing the lives of hundreds of people.
