The primary objective of the visit to the Kotayk region was to assist five beneficiaries who needed special attention. The assistance was provided in five villages across the region. Along with this, food and medicine were also provided.
The Hanganak team visited 5 villages as planned, but only met with 4 beneficiaries. One of the beneficiaries was hospitalized in Yerevan hospital the day before.
In general, the health status of the beneficiaries seems to be satisfactory. They are diligently following their doctor’s orders, and as per the examination results, the indicators, including blood pressure, have significantly improved. However, Tikin Satya needs consultation with an endocrinologist as she has been suffering from hypothyroidism for many years, but has not taken the necessary hormone tests for an extended period. Due to this reason, the required medications were not prescribed to her at the local polyclinic. It should be noted that medications can only be dispensed on a doctor’s prescription. She promised to visit an endocrinologist soon and undergo the necessary tests.
The medical worker responsible for the Kotayk region continued to deliver food to the beneficiaries, and the Hanganak team returned to Yerevan late in the evening.
