Within the framework of our Healthy Lifestyle series, Hanganak NGO recently organized a workshop dedicated to the topic of osteochondrosis—a subject suggested by our beneficiaries themselves.
The session was led by Hanganak’s physician, Dr. Lilya Seyranyan, who explained the causes of osteochondrosis, its treatment approaches, and most importantly, ways to prevent the condition. Participants not only gained valuable knowledge but also engaged in practical exercises designed to support spinal health. The exercise session was guided by Anush Shekyan, professional physical therapist, who regularly leads our physical activity component.
Following the educational and physical activity parts, participants joined in preparing a delicious and healthy dish—tabouleh—highlighting the role of nutrition in a healthy lifestyle.
At the end of the workshop, participants completed a patient satisfaction survey, helping us evaluate and improve the quality of our services.
Through this workshop, Hanganak once again emphasized the importance of prevention, active participation, and community engagement in maintaining health and well-being.
