Recently, Hanganak’s administration organized a special cultural event for the beneficiaries, giving them the opportunity to attend a theatrical performance from Artsakh. The gathering became not only a cultural occasion but also a deeply emotional and meaningful experience for our community.
The performance was presented by actors of the Vahram Papazyan State Drama Theatre of Stepanakert, which today continues its artistic activity in Armenia while preserving and presenting the rich theatrical traditions of Artsakh. Founded in 1932, the theatre has long been one of the most important cultural institutions of Artsakh, shaping generations of artists and sustaining a vibrant theatrical heritage.
The performance held special significance because it was presented in the Artsakh dialect—a familiar and heartfelt language that carries the warmth and intimacy of home for many of our beneficiaries. For many in the audience, it was a moment to once again feel the living spirit of their cultural heritage through familiar expressions, humor, and storytelling.
The optimistic and warm atmosphere of the performance deeply impressed the audience. It brought smiles and emotion while reminding everyone of the powerful role that culture plays in preserving memory, identity, and community bonds.

Our beneficiaries expressed sincere gratitude to Hanganak’s administration for creating this opportunity. Many shared that such initiatives allow them not only to enjoy theatre and art but also to reconnect with the cultural environment that shaped their lives and memories.
At Hanganak, cultural life remains an important part of community healing and resilience. Events like this help people preserve their cultural identity, share memories, and continue building a life filled with hope together.
