Last week, the Hanganak team visited the Armavir region, including the communities of Armavir, Metsamor, and Parakar, to provide regular medical check-ups, care, and monthly food assistance to our beneficiaries. The team included physician Dr. Liliya Seyranyan, project coordinator Lina Grigoryan, and serving nurse Anush Shekyan.
During the visit, the team met with eight beneficiaries in their homes, offering not only professional medical attention but also the warmth of human connection. Each visit became a heartfelt exchange—an opportunity to listen, to comfort, and to remind our elderly beneficiaries that they are not forgotten.
In addition to the health check-ups and food support, the team conducted interviews to assess the health, psychological, and social needs of the beneficiaries. These assessments are part of Hanganak’s ongoing effort to understand each person’s circumstances and to provide comprehensive, personalized care.
“Your visits mean so much to us,” one of the beneficiaries shared. “You bring not only medicine and food, but also kindness and attention—things we need the most.”
Every regional visit reaffirms our mission: to care for the forcibly displaced, lonely elderly from Artsakh with dignity, compassion, and hope.
Hanganak’s services are made possible through the generous support of the Armenian Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA), whose partnership helps us bring consistent care and comfort to those who need it most.
