After the beautiful launch of our first English lesson, our team continued leading the classes while our young volunteers were busy with their school exams. Yet the warm and caring atmosphere remained the same, and the progress of our participants was truly inspiring.
During the recent lessons, they learned numbers, the alphabet, simple greetings and questions such as “What is your name?” and “How old are you?”. With the help of the Present Simple, many began speaking about themselves—their nationality, country of origin, profession, and family. For some, it was the first time they confidently engaged in small conversations, which was genuinely moving to witness.
After the class, our team surprised the group with a heartfelt treat—traditional Armenian khapama. Everyone enjoyed it together, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere where learning and connection felt even more meaningful.
These classes remind us of something deeply meaningful: when people come together to learn, support one another, and share even small moments of joy, something much bigger grows. At Hanganak, we witness how language becomes more than just words—it becomes a bridge toward confidence, dignity, connection, and renewed hope. And every step our participants take is a testament to their strength and to the caring community that surrounds them.
