On June 25, the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support /MHPSS/ Conference took place, organized by the internationally renowned organization Médecins du Monde (Doctors of the World). The Hanganak team was delighted to participate, gaining insights into MDM’s Armenian experience on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Situations. The panel discussions highlighted the effectiveness of coordinated multidisciplinary teams and the importance of ensuring accessible psychosocial services for vulnerable populations.
This theme resonates deeply with the services provided by Hanganak NGO through its Elderly Program. The conference was particularly valuable for offering theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as tools to deliver high-quality services for the organization’s beneficiaries.
