Cooperation with “Mission Armenia” Continues

We held our second meeting with Tatyana Dashyan, Senior Social Worker and Refugee Affairs Manager at “Mission Armenia” NGO, at one of the organization’s social housing facilities in Avan-Arinj. The location is particularly notable for its proximity to a kindergarten. The residence consists of five modest yet comfortable apartments, featuring a shared kitchen and two bathrooms. The residents—three from Hadrut and one from Martuni—expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to have a stable home.

The visit served two key purposes: first, to introduce our beneficiaries to the social housing environment, and second, to distribute ZARA-branded clothing donated by the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) through “Mission Armenia.” The beneficiaries were pleasantly surprised by this unexpected gesture.

An additional highlight was the presence of Anahit Hayrapetyan, UNHCR’s External Relations Officer, who joined the meeting. Her participation opened new avenues for collaboration, reinforcing our shared commitment to improving the lives of beneficiaries amid ongoing challenges.

Before concluding, we agreed with Mrs. Dashyan to organize a follow-up meeting at the Hanganak office, where beneficiaries will receive additional support packages from “Mission Armenia.”
