The Armenian Women’s Welfare Association, Inc. (AWWA), a service organization founded in 1915, is dedicated to providing comfort, relief, and education to improve the quality of life and well-being of the Armenian community and the community at large.
The AWWA is the primary sponsor of the Hanganak Elder Clinic, a non-governmental organization (NGO), in Stepanakert, Nagorno-Kharabagh that provides medical services, food, and social support to approximately 300 individuals who live alone and have no other means of support.
